Mocha Pear

This could be served for breakfast or as a snack.

Ingredients

1 tsp instant coffee
2 tsp cocoa powder
1 tbsp boiling water
2 tbsp Canderel granules
1 medium ripe pear
200 ml semi skimmed milk
150ml plain low fat yogurt
2 ice cubes

Step by step
Put the coffee and cocoa into a large jug ,add the hot water and stir to make a paste. Stir in the Canderel.
Peel and core the pear then roughly chop then add to the jug with the milk and yogurt and ice cubes.
Using a stick blend, blend until smooth. Alternatively use a jug blender.
Pour into glasses and serve.
